From Yadkinville go Hwy 421 for about 8 miles, turn onto Baltimore Rd exit towards Dinkins Bottom Road and go 0.3 of a mile, turn left onto Baltimore Rd. go .6 of a mile, turn right on Old US 421 Rd. and go about 3 miles.  Church is on the North side or right  of road, between Forbush School and Enon.  Judy Davenport

Off of I 77, take Hwy 21S/US-21-BRexit to Arlington, go .1 of a mile, turn left onto US 21 and go .2 of a mile, stay straight to go onto US-21-BR for 2 1/2 miles.  Church is on USS 21.  Judy Davenport

Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery -- Buck Shoal Township
 I 77, go off on Hwy 421  toward Yadkinville, go about 1 mile, turn  right onto County Road 1125, go about 1 mile, go past County Road  1123, just a little west of this junction.  Judy Davenport

Baltimore Methodist Church Cemetery -- Forbush Township
From new 421 take the Baltimore Church/Dinkins Bottom exit and go north. Follow the road until it dead ends at a stop sign. Turn right and the cemetary is a short distance on the left.  Steve Binkley

I 77, go off on Hwy 421  toward Yadkinville, go about 5 to 6 miles, turn left onto County Road 1166 (this road is probably called Bethel Church Road), less than 3 miles to junction of 1166 and 1153, church is on the left.   Judy Davenport

From Yadkinville, go  on Hwy 421 toward I 77.  About 4 miles, between Old 421 and new 421 on County Road 1136, probably called Brandon's Friends Church Road or Brandon Road.   Judy Davenport

Center M. E. Church Cemetery -- Deep Creek Township
In Yadkinville, get on Main Street and go toward I 77 until Main Street becomes Old US 421 road then go about 1.5 miles and turn right on Center Road, go to Center.  Church is at the junction of roads 1331 and 1381. Judy Davenport

Charity Baptist Church Cemetery -- Boonville Township
 I 77 go off onto Hwy 67 to Boonville, church is about 2 miles past  Boonville on Hwy 67 and County Road 1518 on the left. Judy Davenport

Church of God, Jonesville Cemetery (Black) -- Knobbs Township
I 77 exit  highway to Arlington/Jonesville, this is exit US 21 S/US-21-BR exit go .1 of a mile and turn left onto US-21 for .2 of a mile, stay straight to go onto US-21-BR to Arlington about 2.5 miles.  Go through Arlington staying on US 21 for about 2 miles to Jonesville. I 77 go off on Hwy 67, 3 miles past Boonville, turn N (left) onto County Road 1510 (1510 to the right is Nebo Road so this may also be the name to the left) and go about 3 miles.   Judy Davenport
 

Courtney Baptist Church Cemetery (was Cross Roads Baptist)--Liberty Township
From Yadkinville, go Hwy 601South toward Mocksville.  About 4 to 5 miles from where 601S and 421 cross, turn left onto Courtney Huntsville Road (County Road 1001) . Church is about 1 mile.   Judy Davenport

Deep Creek Baptist Church Cemetery -- Liberty Township
From Yadkinville, go South on Hwy 601 toward Mocksville  for about  2 1/2  miles from where 601S and 421 cross, turn left onto County Road 1733,go about 3 miles on County Road 1733.  Church is at junction of County Roads 1733 and 1735.(Road maybe called Deep Creek or Deep Creek Church Road)   Judy Davenport

Enon Baptist Church Cemetery -- Forbush Township
From Yadkinville, take the Yadkinville Road (old 421) to the intersection with the Flint Hill Road (1549). The Church and its cemetery is just beyond the intersection on the left.  Steve Binkley

Faith Community Church Cemetery -- East Bend Township
 I 77 turn onto Hwy 67, go through Boonville to East Bend, turn right (South) onto County Road 1549 toward Flint Hill, go about 2 1/2 miles and turn right onto County Road 1574 (this is about 1 mile before you get to Flint Hill) and is probably called Faith Church Road, go about 1 mile. Fall Creek Baptist Church Cemetery -- Knobbs Township
I 77 exit to Arlington on Hwy 21 S/US 21-BR for .1 of a mile, turn left onto US-21 .2 of a mile, and stay straight to go onto US-21-BR toward Arlington.  Church is SE of Arlington at junction of County Roads 1331 and 1352.  It is very near I 77.  Should be the 1st road on the left after you get onto US 21,  Probably called Fall Creek Church Road.  Judy Davenport

Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery -- Buck Shoals Township
I 77 exit onto Hwy 421, turn onto US 21S to Hamptonville, about 1 mile south of Hwy 421 at Hamptonville turn right (West) onto County Road 1126 and go about 1 mile.  1126 is probably called Flat Rock Church Road. Judy Davenport

Forbush Baptist Church Cemetery -- Forbush Township
From Yadkinville, go Hwy 421 S for about 6 miles, turn left and go about .3 of a mile to the Old US 421 and turn left for .1 of a mile.Then road veers or turn to the left onto Road 1605 (probably Forbush Church Road and go about .7  Church should be at the junction of County Roads 1605 and 1600.  Judy Davenport

Forbush Baptist Church Cemetery (Black) -- Forbush Township
 From Yadkinville, go South on Hwy 601 for about 3 to 4 1/2
miles, turn left on Courtney Huntsville Road (County Road 1001) and go about 1/2 mile to Courtney, stay on this road going towards Huntsville for about 4 miles.  Church is on this road and about 1/4 mile East of County Road 1711. This should be about 2 miles before you get to Huntsville and about 3 1/2 miles from Courtney.  Judy Davenport

Forbush Friends Church Cemetery -- Fall Creek Township
From Yadkinville take Main Street for 1.2 miles until it becomes Old US-421 road, then go .6 of a mile. Turn left onto Union Cross Church Road for l.7 miles, turn left onto Griffin Road for l.7 miles, turn left onto Snider Road for l.8 miles then Snider Road becomes Union Cross Church road and go .3 mile and turn right onto Nebo Road and go .4, and turn right onto Forbush Road and go l.9 miles to Forbush.  In Forbush at junction of County Roads 1570 (Forbush Road) and 1596.  Judy Davenport

Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery -- Fall Creek Township
 I 77, take Hwy 67 and go through Boonville, stay on Hwy 67 About 5 1/2 miles, turn left toward Smithtown onto County Road 1003. Church is about 4 miles on right. (Note: Do not turn right
 to go into Smithtown, stay on 1003 that veers to the left.) Judy Davenport

Gospel Way Church Cemetery -- Liberty Township
 From Yadkinville go South on Hwy 601 for about 2 1/2 miles, turn left onto County Road 1733 (toward the right is Martins Stores) and go about 1 mile and turn left onto County Road 1739.  The Church is on the left about 3/4 of a mile.  This road is probably called  Gospel Way Church Road.  Judy Davenport

Hanes Grove Methodist Church Cemetery -- Deep Creek Township
I 77 exit onto Hwy 421 toward Yadkinville, then turn right onto Hwy 21 S about 3 miles on the left.  Judy Davenport

Harmony Grove Friends Church Cemetery -- Deep Creek Township
From Yadkinville, take Main Street toward I 77 until Main Street becomes Old US 421 road and go about 1.5 miles and turn right onto Center Street.  Church is at the junction of  County Roads 1142 and 1381.  So it should be right at the turn.  Judy Davenport

Hunting Creek Friends Church Cemetery -- Buck Shoals Township
 I 77 exit onto Hwy 421  to Hwy 21 S, turn on Hwy 21 S toward  Hamptonville.  Turn right onto County Road 1126 and go about 1/2  mile and turn left onto County Road 1102.  Go about 3 miles and turn left onto County Road 1100 (this is probably Hunting Creek Church Road )and go about 1/2 mile.  Church is on the left.  Judy Davenport

Huntsville Baptist Church Cemetery -- Forbush Township
From Yadkinville, go Hwy 601S for about 4.6 miles, turn left onto Courtney Huntsville Road and go through Courtney toward Huntsville about 6 to 6.6 miles. It is about 1 mile before you get to Huntsville at the junction of Courtney Huntsville Road and road 1713.  Judy Davenport

I 77 exit onto Hwy 67 toward Boonville..  Church is about 1 to 2 miles on Hwy 67.  Judy Davenport

Jonesville Cemetery -- Knobbs Township
I 77 exit onto US 21S/US-21-BR go .1 of mile and turn left onto US-21 for .2 of mile, stay straight to go onto US-21-BR and go 2.5 miles to Arlington.  Go through Arlington to Jonesville, about 2 miles.  Go toward Elkin Airport, which is County Road 1300.  Church is t junction of County Roads 1300 and 1310.  Judy Davenport

Longtown Methodist Church Cemetery -- Deep Creek Township
I 77 exit Hwy 421 toward Yadkinville  to Hwy 21, go left (North) about 1 1/2 miles then turn right onto County Road 1338 to Longtown.  Go about 1 mile.  Judy Davenport

Macedonia Church Cemetery -- East Bend Township
 I 77 exit onto Hwy 67, go through Boonville  and East Bend.   Church is on Hwy 67, 1 mile past East Bend.  Judy Davenport

From Yadkinville get onto Main Street and go toward I 77 until Main Street turns into Old US 421 road and go l.5 miles, turn right onto Center Road and go to Center. From Yadkinville, take the Yadkinville Road (old 421) to the intersection with the Riverpointe  Road (1640), which is the last paved road to the right before crossing the Yadkin River bridge. Turn right into the Riverpointe subdivision. Park in the gravel drive that leads to a building with tank attached. Walk to the field directly behind the building, cross that field to a second one and walk right along the margin of that field. Toward the upper end of the field you will begin to see periwinkle growing out of the woods. Look into the woods for two headstones.  Steve Binkley

From Yadkinville take Old 421 to the Baltimore Church Road (1570) and turn left. Go to the stop sign and turn left. Go 0.2 mi and the cemetery is in the trees to your right. Ask permission at the house before entering. The headstones are small and lean against the bases of the trees. Only three have legible inscriptions.   Steve Binkley

From new 421 take the Baltimore Church/Dinkins Bottom exit and go north. Follow the road until it dead ends at a stop sign. Turn right and the Baltimore Methodist Church is a short distance on the left.  Just past the Church, turn left. Cross Logan Creek and turn left on Binkley Road (1576). Go about a half mile to a rough dirt road on the left. Follow this road to the top of a high hill and on across the field to the woods. Walk right along the edge of the woods until you come to a fairly large cemetery in the woods.
(I haven't been to this cemetery since the early 70s, so things could have changed.)  Steve  Steve Binkley

John Long Cemetery -- Deep Creek Township
From the intersection of U.S. 601 and old U.S. 421 in downtown Yadkinville, take old U.S. 421 west 4 miles to Cox Mill Rd. Turn right on Cox Mill Rd. and go 4/10 mile to Ireland Rd. Turn left on Ireland Rd. and go 2/10 mile and stop at the Bobby Cheek residence (2524 Ireland Road). The cemetery is about 400 yards due south in a stand of pine trees. Most markers are unreadable and the cemetery is overgrown with trees. Some of the descendants of Frederick Long (one of the two original Longs of Yadkin County and whose tombstone is on display in the history room of the Yadkin county library) are buried here. Two of the more well-known would be John Long, the ninth child of Frederick Long, and Augustus Marion (Gus) Long who was the founder and captain of the famous Red Strings baseball team (circa 1896-1902). It may be helpful to get permission to visit and directions from the Bobby Cheek residence.
