Here is some welcome Huntsville lore from Mike Skinner:My grandmother was married to Cecil Hunt of Huntsville. According to stories I have heard growing up, the courthouse in Huntsville was built on a plot of land given to the county by my great grandfathers family (which is why the town is named Huntsville) According to the story, the land they owned was divided into four fields, which all met at one point, the courthouse was built over this point... At least that is the story I have been told.
Thanks, Mike!
