My ggg-grandfather was Thomas Smith Bradley b.
27 Jan 1818 inKentucky, d. 16 Nov 1898 and is buried in Fairview
Cemetary. I seemto find conflicting info on who his father actually
was. Some aresure its Terry Joseph Bradley son of Leonard Keeling
Bradley and Mary"Polly" Boone and some say his parents were Thomas
Bradley fromGeorgia and Rachel Roberts. In the 1880 Randolph County
census hestates that his father was born in Georgia which might seem
to provethe Thomas & Rachel theory, but I have found so many
inconsistenciesfor that particular census question that I'm not
convinced it'scorrect. There are countless gedcom files out there
with him listedwith these two different sets of parents but both have
his birthdateas either 1815 or 1816 which would be incorrect
according to histombstone. I'm so confused! If anyone has any good
information onThomas Smith Bradley I'd greatly appreciate hearing

On an elusive ancestor search! Found a James
Holloway on an 1860census in this county. James/Jim Holloway, b. abt.
1833, KY?Married a lady from the Hunt family in KY. They moved to
MO,somewhere. She died after brith of 3rd child. He was
shortly killedafterward by bushwackers. Children were Louisa Jane b.
abt1861-1864, Mary and Jim. Both parents died abt. 1867. The
childrenwere placed with different families. Louisa eventually ended
up inthe Cass/Henry Co. area. Don't think she was orphaned there,
basedon family stories. Can't locate her birth place, much
lessparentage. She was eventually taken in by a Jane Smith, after
livingwith 1 or 2 families. Does anyone recognize this story, know
of anyHolloway's buried in this Co.? Also saw an infant Holloway
on a 1860mortality schedule in this Co. Since the dates coincide with
myfamily info. though I would check this Co. Any leads would be
