Christine's Genealogy Website has a wealth of information and links to a lot a helpful and informative sites.
Carol C-H's GenConnect Boards. Carol administers GenConnect boards for Queries; Biographies; Wills (including wills where slaves are mentioned whether a surname is mentioned or not); Deeds, Newspaper Records and Plantation Info; Bible/Church Records; and Obituary/Death and Cemetery Records! Please enter any slave data entries you come across in your research!
Sonoma State University Database is a free resource where you can search for slave data in wills. Any will which names a slave will carry the code "slaves" and searching on "slaves" as Keyword-general will bring up all documents in which any slave is mentioned by name. Then the complete transcript of the document can be accessed.
