The
purpose of this web site is to familiarize JeffersonCounty
researchers as to what is available at and from our society. The idea for a
genealogical society in JeffersonCounty was developed
in the summer of 1995. A small group of employees and patrons at the JeffersonCounty Library, Northwest Branch,
decided that it was time that our county had such an organization. In
December of 1995, officers were elected and a constitution was adopted. Our
numbers have continue to grow since that time and we offer you the
following links to help you with your research in JeffersonCounty:
