POLK COUNTY MUSEUM
Bolivar, Missouri
Veterans Room
The Veterans Room, on the second floor of the Museum, is the home to displays of Army, Navy, Marine and other service uniforms, plus artifacts of all wars since 1861. The walls are covered with plaques commemorating the veterans of all wars who were once residents of Polk County.
Walking in the door of the Veterans Room, you may first notice the airplane models on the ceiling or maybe the many different uniforms.
A display of a soldier's clothing is in the far corner of the room.
This is the Civil War artifacts display.
