Organizational & Membership Information: Boone-Duden
Historical Society
The Boone-Duden Historical Society was formed in 1986 and currently
meets on the last Monday of alternate months, beginning in February.
The meetings are held at different locations so as to familiarize
everyone with the total Boone-Duden area. ¨ðThere are
currently over 180 members. In addition to the research done by the
Historian, the leadership team, and the members, the Society
publishes a bi-monthly NEWSLETTER which is mailed to the membership.
There are reciprocal arrangements with other historical societies and
the exchange of information with them is helpful. The society is a
not-for-profit corporation and all contributions are tax deductible.
An individual membership is $12.50 per year and family memberships
are $15.00 per year. A membership year is January thru December. To
