Dillon, John Franklin

In memory of John Franklin Dillon

who died the 6th of May 1849

aged 10 months 6 days

Oh, what is life? tis like a flower

That blossoms and is gone,

We see it flourish for an hour

With all its beauty on,

Death comes like a wintry day

It cuts the pretty flower away.
