What is the USGenWeb?

In March and April, 1996, a group of genealogists organized the KentuckyGenWeb project. This grew into the USGenWeb project, and eventually the WorldGenWeb project. At the same time, volunteers were found who were willing to coordinate the collection of databases and generally oversee the contents of the web page.

It is the USGenWeb policy to provide FREE information to help everyone with their research. If you have public domain documents that would help other researchers who have ancestors in St. Louis Co. MN, please consider submitting them to the St. Louis Co. MNGenWeb - Shirley Solem or the MNGenWeb Archives Coordinator. These archives depend fully on volunteers to transcribe items and donate files. Contributions by folks like you make this project grow. Due to storage space restrictions we cannot accept family gedcoms at this time. Some types of records we can accept: anything in public domain, anything published before 1921 and items published after 1921 with the author's written permission.
