State Vital Records

The Minnesota Department of Health does not issue copies of marriage or divorce records. They do, however, maintain an index of marriages (1958-1998) and divorces (1970-1998) in the state and will, for a fee, conduct a search. The actual marriage/divorce records must be requested from the county where the event occurred.
