Van Buren Co., MI GenWeb Project
In March and April, 1996, a group of genealogists organized the
Michigan Comprehensive Genealogy Database. The idea was to provide a single
entry point for all counties in Michigan, where collected databases would
be stored. In addition, the databases would be indexed and cross-linked,
so that even if an individual were found in more than one county, they
could be located in the index. At the same time, volunteers were
found who were willing to coordinate the collection of databases and generally
oversee the contents of the web page. My name is Joan
Jaco
and I'm responsible for Van Buren county. Please contact me
if you would like to contribute to this database. This page is now sponsored
by the Van
Buren Regional Genealogical Society We would
like to see this page grow and welcome any contributions of information
to add to our pages. If you would like to host a Michigan county,
please contact Jan
Cortez. Please visit the MIGenWebpage
for a lot of good links. To learn more about the GenWeb Project
