MEETINGS The next membership meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Meetings are held at the Stockbridge Town Hall. Social time begins at 6:30 p.m., with the business meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m. The speaker is Mr. Jim Worden who will speak on the history of the Munith area. This will be a roundtable event. Visitors are welcome and there is no admission.
The funds have been raised, and now the last step in the process is complete. The microfilm reader and dedicated computer is now available for use at the Stockbridge branch of the Capital Area District Library. You do not need to have a library card to use the equipment. This dedicated computer gives the patron more options with the scanned image. While you are able to print the image, you will also be able to burn the image to a CD and/or send the image to your personal computer via e-mail.
