Lucian D. JENKS, son of Robert Gilbert and Henrietta Sophia (SPENCER) was born 11/25/1865. He married Della LOCKWOODON 12/27/1893. Della was born 1867 and died 2/5/1938. Lucian died 11/1/1938. I am looking for children of this union. Thanks

I am looking for any information on the HANSELMAN family. What I gather from the family bible is, David A. HANSELMAN and wilfe Rebecca must have moved there sometime after 1875 . There sixth child Zoe was married in Belding in 1903. 7th son, Rudolph (Ruda) HANSELMAN married Lillian or Libbie FARMER, in 1905 in Greenville. So I search for any information in Montcalm County.

I am looking for any information about the FELTON family of McBride,Montcalm Co. MI. Larson FELTON was the patriarch but is possible that his first name is incorrect. His wife was Ellen HAYWOOD or HEGWOOD, they had at least two sons, George and Homer, George was married to Phoebe HUDSON. I am trying to find information on John Amos BEAT(T)Y. He is listed in the 1880 census of Richland Township in Montcalm County as married to a woman named Marguerite. Later information states that he had taken a second wife in 1878, not sure how . The first wife's name was Marguerite MILLER, born possibly in 1845 in Ohio. Anyone with information pointing towards this family would be appreciated. Thank you.

I am looking for the families of Godfrey WENDLAND. He was born 1859 in Germany and immigrated in about 1880 with his first wife Wilhelmine "Minnie" STEINKE. They settled and lived in Howard City, Montcalm, MI. She died in 1899 there and he married Mary (Marie?) LEMMIN. Godfrey and Minnie had a daughter Anna( born 1890 probabaly in Montcalm Co.) who married a Mr. YOUNG. Godfrey and Mary had four children, two of whom are William and Mata. Godfrey and Mary resided, died, and are buried in Ionia, MI.

William C. BOWER (1870-1938) and his wife Cora (COLE) BOWER farmed some 350 acres near Greenville, Montcalm County. They raised a family: John BOWER, Adelaide PIERCE, William C. BOWER, Jr., Berth VAUGHT, Roberta SNYDER, Robert BOWER. My grandfather (William, Jr.) met his wife, Mildred ASHLEY as a student in high school in Greenville (she was a teacher from Ionia County). They were married in 1922. Any info would be appreciated.

Edwin James SMITH (b Aug 23, 1835 in MI d June 6, 1917 or Oct 1881) Parents were Newell (b 1801 NY d Feb 21, 1875 MI)and Mary SMITH (b 1804 NY d Apr 5, 1875 MI, married 1817. Where did Newell and Mary SMITH come from? Newell's father was probably Reuben SMITH b 1775 place unknown. Reuben's parents were Ralph (b 1745)and Mahitabel (b 1752 d Sept 13, 1827) SMYTHE or SMITH. Family story says that Ralph said he came from Hingham, England to Hingham, New York. Where was Hingham, New York? Or was it Hingham, Massachusetts? Are there other descendents looking for their roots in this Ralph SMITH ranch???

Looking for any information on the Benjamin MEDES and Phoebe AYERS family listed in the 1870 Montcalm Co census. Benjamin MEDES born about 1824 Mass, Phoebe AYERS born abt.1820 in NY. Thier daughter Harriett MEDES married Lysander PICKARD in early 1870's.

I'm looking for any information on Henry KIMBLE Millie WENDLAND. Henry was b. 1873 and d. 1936, Millie was b. 1878 in Germany and d. 1941. Her mother and step-father settled in Howard City as did her brother and half-siblings. The Kimbles had no children.

Joseph STEARNS b. 06 Jan 1865 in Greenville MI md. Hattie ZEIGLER of Erie PA in Aug 1884 in Greenville MI. This is all I have about them except that I understand that in Greenville (newspaper) in a 50th Anniv. issue dated Aug. 1934 memtion is made of one or both of them. Any assistance will be appreciated.
