Searching for anyone doing research on the David and Dorothy DRIER family living in Douglas, Montcalm, MI, after 1870. Children: Charles, William, August (my gr grandfather), Henry, Carrie, and Charlotte. Another daughter, Emma, stayed in Germany. August DRIER married Catherine Rebecca SHEAFFER on Feb. 11, 1894, at Douglas. She was the daughter of Adam SHEAFFER and Celina Eve (COLYER) SHEAFFER. Moved to Southmayd, Grayson Co., TX, and then to Springer, Colfax Co., NM.

Hoping to find more information on the family of David and Nancy CAUGHEY BARNHART who died in 1896 in Bloomer Twp. One of their children, Frances, b. 1860 Dekalb Co., IN, married John DURBIN, 1850-1889, and Wallace SCOTT. Frances and Wallace died in NY, but Frances and John's children stayed in MI. Any help would be appreciated!

SHAW b 1891 died CA 1969 Edwy SHAW came thru Sarnia, Canada to Michigan in 1869 Before Edwy came to MI he spent some time in Dakota Territory. Does any of this connect with this family? I am searching for any information on my GGrandmother, Antoinette(Nettie)RUMOHR.She was born Montcalm Co., to Fred and Eliza Gilmore Rumohr. Antoinette RUMOHR married George A. AIKEN, Sept. 28, 1884. They had two children, Edna, b.1885, and Clifton, b. 1889. Antoinette(Nettie) may have also been known as Nettie Hulbert as her mother, Eliza Gilmore RUMOHR married Andrew HULBERT sometime before the 1880 census. Would like to know when Antoinette(Nettie) and her daughter, Edna, died as their deaths are not listed in any cemeteries in Montcalm or neighboring counties. After Antoinette and Edna died, Clifton Andrew, the only remaining child lived with his grandparents, Andrew/Eliza Gilmore HULBERT before joining his father George Andrew AIKEN in Monroe Co., MI. Any info would be greatly appreciated
