manse by Rev. Joseph Green. The couple
will make their home on the Kennedy farm.

of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Huber were married at the Zion Lutheran Church at
County Center by Rev. A. G. Mueller.
The couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Miller, the latter being
a sister of the bride.

V. Taylor and Miss Estella Figg, both of Lincoln twp. were married at the
Methodist Episcopal parsonage in Mt. Pleasant by Rev. J. C. DeVinney. Miss Gladys Bush and Clifford Figg
accompanying them. The young couple
will be making their home in Shepherd.

F. Dole, of Berwyn, Ill and Miss Rebecca Nesen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. F.
Nesen, 319 S. Main St., were married at the home of the bride by Rev. Jas. G.
Wilson.
Mrs.
William Nesen played the music and the bride and groom were attended by Ronald
Nesen, nephew of the bride.
The
young couple will be making their home at Berwyn, Ill.

town guests were: Mr. and Mrs.
Frederick L. Dole and two daughters, Cara and Lila of Berwyn, Ill; Mrs. W. C. Nesen, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Nesen,
Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Brownson and daughter Charlotte, and son Harold, all
of Lansing, MI.

church. The bride was attended by Miss

Oliver, 17 years and Dora Bacon, 16 years, eloped from their homes Monday
evening. They left Mt. Pleasant in an
auto which they hired to go to
Shepherd, but later engaged the driver to take them to Ithaca. They have not been located.

MR. AND MRS. F. M. McCLINTIC

and Mrs. F. M. McClintic celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary at
Fenton, MI. Only members of their
immediate family and their children were present. Mr. and Mrs. McClintic have eight children, all of whom are living
and were present to enjoy the day with their parents.

guests represented by the eight children and their families were: A. W. McClintic and wife of Shepherd; A. T. McClintic of Cheboygan, Mrs. S. s. Seibert and two daughters, Olive
and Ruby of Minneapolis; U. G. Andrews
and wife of Fenton, Mrs. E. O. Howard
and daughter, Violet of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. McClintic and little son, William, of

George E. Smith and Mrs. Retta J. Griswold, two well known St. Louis people
were marired at the Woodward Ave. M. E. church in Detroit. Mr. Smith has been employed by the Sugar
Company for the past 17 years and Mrs. Smith is a professional nurse for the
past 22 years, the last 14 spent in and around St. Louis. The couple will be making their home at
South Delaware Ave.

Imogene Rowlader and William S. Gillsepie, of Chicago, were married at the home of the bride's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Rowlader, 1020 S. Normal Ave., by Rev. Joseph H.
Green of the Presbyterian church.
Miss
Rowlader graduated from Central MI Normal in 1917 and during tghe past year she
has taught in the Detroit schools. Mr.
Gillespie is of the firm of Kinkend-Gillsepi-Balfanzo Co., constructive printers
and advertisers in Chicago.
A
wedding breakfast was served with these in attendence: Mr. and Mrs. Rowlader, father and mother of
the bride; Mrs. Alfred Rowlader, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Rowlader; Doris and Helen Rowlader, sister os the
bride; Miss Lila Madison of Ludington.
The
couple will be making their home in Chicago.

church in Flint. The couple will be
making their home in Durand where Mr. Barton is engaged in the furniture

Flint on June 25th, 1919 by Rev. George Vercoe. The bride was attended by the groom's sister, Mrs. Lyle Gorton as
matron of honor and Glenn Wille, brother of the bride was best man. .

Miss
Edna Duff and Dr. L. O. Ludlum were married at the home of the bride's mother,
Mr. T. G. Duff, by the Rev. Mr. John Roberts of the Presbyterian church.
Dr.
Ludlum is a dentist of St. Louis and Mrs. Ludlum was a teacher in the city
schools, recently taking a job with the drafting department of the Republic
Truck factory.
The
couple will be making their home on Main St.

Dora Alexander was married at her home to Mr. B. Heideman of St. Louis, MO, by
Elder Start. Only the parents, Mr. and
Mrs. C. O. Alexander, Mrs. Heideman, the mother of the groom of St. Louis, MO,
and Elder Start and wife were present.
Mr. and
Mrs. Heideman will make their home at Romulous, New York, where the former has
charge of a fine church.

Mable Mudge, only child of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Mudge was married to Benjamine
Nestle, known here as Benjamin Bebow, son of Mrs. Leonard Culver. The wedding took place at the W. C. T. U.
Home, 125, High St., Detroit, the home of the bride's parents.
Those
who attended were: Mr. and Mrs. Leonard
Culver, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Barrett and
Mrs. Vinnie Stewart, Mrs. Ora Shaw of
Merrill was also a guest.

been married at the same place and by the same minister, each acting as
witnesses for the other.
