Due to the amount of information in many  of these weddings, I am only listing the date of marriage or newspaper date (nsp) and names.  Some go into great detail in setting, gowns, decorations,  etc., and do not feel this is necessary for genealogy

Roy Johns of Isabella twp. and Eulah Smith of Chippewa twp. were married by the Rev. Joseph Green at his home.  They were accompanied by Myrtle Foreman and Mildred Smith.

Floyd Jennings and Opal Beckman, both of Lincoln twp. were married by the Rev. Joseph Green at his home.  They were attended by Leland Jennings and Gladys Beckman.

MORTON - CHIVINGTON

March 26, 1918

 

Walter Morton of Chippewa twp. and Laura Chivington of the same, were married by Rev. Joseph Green.  Harold H. Ohlms and Laura Wadle....rest is missing, do don't know it it was another wedding, or these people attended the bride and groom above.

CADER - THAYER

November 27, 1918

 

Ervin J. Cader and Miss Lillian Thayer, both of Lincoln twp. were married by Rev. J. C. DeVinney at the Mt. Pleasant Methodist parsonage.  Clarence Thayer of Shepherd and Miss.....rest is missing.

WRIGHT - FORDYCE

June 20, 1918 (nsp)

 

Mr. John Wright and Miss Vera Fordyce, only daughter of Scott and Mary Fordyce were married at the church parsonage by Elder Start.  Both are well know, Miss Fordyce having lived here all her life and Mr. Wright coming here from Ohio when a small boy.

Chester Swartout and Miss Margaret Stahl were married at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Doren Stahl, southeast Coe.  Elder Start of the Church of Christ of Coe village performing the ceremony.
