• Any Family Group Sheets that have LIVING people on them will not be put online. If the person was born before 1904 it is assumed they are no longer living.  
• Put all SURNAMES in capital letters!
• Please list a Michigan County or up to 3 that each sheet is associated and is a listed in the person's birth, death, marriage or burial.  HELP: Lookup a place and find the county.
• Add any additional information in the area left for notes, below the children.
• We strongly encourage everyone to quote their sources in the notes area.  Just the title of the source is sufficient. 

Choose a Way to Submit Your Sheets

• ONLINE FORMS - Fill in and hit the buttons to send the sheet while you are online.  NOTE: The form will send a copy to you also.  If you have your e-mail setting to text only messages the one coming to you will look like gibberish.  
  
  SIMPLE FORM  No extra scripting used on this one.  Fill out online and a copy is sent to us automatically.  

BY E-MAIL - We have a page ready with all you need to copy and paste into an e-mail or text editor. Simply fill in and send to us.  

• USE REPORTS GENERATED BY YOUR PROGRAM - and attach to an e-mail - this is the easiest method for submitting sheets. 

  Using a software program to create a family group sheet to put online: 1. Family Origin Software - Does well when sending as a text file. Example Here.  Please do not send PDF files. 2. Legacy Software - Makes excellent family sheets.    HOW TO HERE Example Here      Get the FREE edition of Legacy Software. 3. PAF (Personal Ancestral File) - Sheets do not transfer to a format for web pages. Please download Legacy's or Ancestry's free software to use for making up sheets to send. No Examples.  4. Family Tree Maker - The reports that this program creates are not compatible and can not be used.  We suggest you download either Legacy or Ancestry's Family Tree Software which are both free, import your gedcom into them to make reports. 5. Ancestry's Family Tree Free Software - Does a nice family sheet from the program to save in text and send. Example Here. More detailed instructions to come on this software and generating your family sheets.  HOW TO HERE Get FREE Ancestry Family Tree program.
