The records transcribed below were provided by an unknown person to Downeast Ancestry and published in Volume 1, No. 2 (Aug 1977), pp 18-20. "The following Brunswick, Maine marriage intentions cover the period from 1740 through 1764; the earliest actual marriage record for Brunswick is in 1784." Although Brunswick is in Cumberland County, these records are being transcribed and published here because many individuals from Sagadahoc County were married in Cumberland County.
