Town of Corinth Revisiting Its HistoryThe Corinth Historical Society is busy researching and writing the history of (East) Corinth, a job which has not been done since 1887! They are interested in collecting genealogical information on any present or former resident of the town. They are especially interested in hearing from descendants of some of the earlier settlers of the place. If you have any information that you could contribute, you may contact us at jamesrwilson@charter.net or by mail at Corinth Historical Society, P.O. Box 541, Corinth, Maine 04427. They thank you in advance for your invaluable aid. Membership:There are many benefits to membership in Penobscot County Genealogical Society - beyond receiving the bi-monthly newsletter "Penobscot Roots & Connection" you can reap the many rewards of networking with other family history researchers of Penobscot County.
A special thank you goes out to RootsWeb for the support they generously give to the genealogical and historical communities. Free web hosting is provided for this website to help you further your research endeavors. Please be sure to make RootsWeb a regular stop for exploring your ancestry.
