Barrett Park is a little park right next to the Canaan Town Hall. There is a walkway that runs up to a stone monument to Harrison D. Barrett. A small stream (the Carrabasset) runs near the park.

Harrison D. Barrett was the first President of the National Spiritualist Association in the United States. The stone monument reads: Stream which runs near the park
