The bride wore a traveling dress of gray Irish poplin, with hat and gloves to match, and carried a bouquet of lillies-of-the- valley. The church was prettily decorated with palms. The ushers were James E. Green, Jr., brother of the groom; Robert M. Taylor, of Towson; Walter Post Duvall, of Baltimore, and John Borden, of Bedford Springs, Pa. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Green left for a Northern trip. They will be at home Wednesday after April 20th, at 1202 Guilford avenue.

A double wedding was celebrated Wednesday at 9 A.M., at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Highlandtown, in which the contracting parties of each couple served as best man and best lady, respectively, for the other. Miss Annie Baetz, daughter of Mr. John Baetz, of 811 Rose street, East Baltimore and Mr. John Reissig composed one couple and Miss Margaret Reissig, an orphan and cousin to John Reissig, and Mr. John Foertsbecker, the other. The ceremonies were accompanied by a solemn nuptial mass, of which Rev. John Klang was celebrant, with Rev. Joseph Stolz as deacon and Rev. Bernard
Niehaus subdeacon. The two brides were becomingly gowned in steel gray cloth with lace trimmings and carried Marechal Niel roses. A wedding breakfast followed at the lower hall of the Highland Academy and a joint reception was held at night, accompanied by a dance.

ALMONY - BOND In response to the neat and tasteful cards of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Bond about sixty of their friends, from York, Baltimore and Harford counties, assembled in their parlor on Wednesday evening, Jan. 13, 1886, to witness the marriage of their daughter, Miss Rena to Mr. James T. Almony. The nuptial knot was tied by the Rev. G. L. Cuddy, of West Harford Circuit. The bride was attired in a cream cashmere, handsomely trimmed with lace, and the groom wore the conventional suit of black. After the ceremony the entire company was invited to the dining hall, where a sumptuous repast was served. Several hours were spent in social enjoyment. Miss Ida McDonald, by her skillful rendering of select music, contributed much to the pleasure of the company. Again were all summoned to the dining hall, where confectionery, fruit, lemons and cake were freely served. The presents were numerous, handsome and some valuable. ? late hour the company dispersed, having spent a delightful evening.
On the following evening, Mr. Harrison Almony, father of the groom, who resides near White Hall, gave a reception to the newly married ?. Many of their friends and relatives were ? and a bountiful supply of confectionery and other good things were served. At a late hour the company dispersed, all agreeing that weddings ? a source of much enjoyment.

Kemp, a highly respected citizen of Phoenix, and Miss Edwina B. Burnett, daughter of Mrs. Lydia Burnett. The ceremony was performed by Rev. S. M. Perry, pastor of the church, in the presence of a very large assemblage of the relatives and friends of the bride and groom. Miss Ida Riley presided at the organ and played the usual wedding march as the party advanced to the altar in the following order: Ushers, Messrs. Nicholas Hutchins and Cyrus Coe, followed by the groom and his best man, Mr. Pearce Richardson: maids of honor, Miss Carrie Coe and Miss Ella Price, followed by the bride, attended by her sister, Miss Annie Burnett. The bride and her attendants were all very handsomely dressed and each carried a beautiful bouquet of natural flowers. The gentleman were all appropriately dressed, at the wedding party presented a very pretty scene as it advanced to the chancel. After the ceremony the bride and groom, with a number of intimate friends, repaired to the residence of Mrs. Burnett, near Phoenix, where an elaborate supper had been prepared and the happy couple received the hearty congratulations of their friends. The bride received a number of beautiful and useful presents, among the most elegant being those from the groom and her sister, Miss Annie Burnett. Among those who attended the reception were Dr. A. Price and wife, Mr. Harry Smith and wife, Mr. Benj. Johnson and wife, Mr. James Parker and wife, Mr. Chas. H. Anderson and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Fristoe, Mr. Purcell and daughters, Mr. H. L. Bowen and daughters, Mrs. Proctor, Mrs. Pocock, Mrs. Ware, Misses Nellie and Sadie Parker, Miss Jennie Badders, Miss Clara Price, Miss Estella Curtis, Mr. E. Scharf, Messrs. Harry and Seymour Piersol, Mr. W. H. Curtis, Mr. W. Pocock and many others.
An agreeable feature of the evening was a complimentary serenade tendered to the bride and groom by the Phoenix cornet band, the members of which, after discoursing a number of poplar airs, were handsomely entertained.

DUNTY - CARRICK Mr. John Dunty, son of Mr. Wm. Dunty, was married to Miss Alice Carrick, of Baltimore, at the parsonage, in this place, by Rev. A. R. Reiley, on Wednesday, 2? Inst. Mr. Dunty gave the young couple a reception on Tuesday evening, 26th inst. On Friday night about fifty men and boys got up a calithumpian? Band and gave them a serenade. When the bride and groom were called for the father and mother of the latter made their appearance, but that did not give satisfaction and they kept up the racket until the young folks made their appearance and received many congratulations. The crowd was supplied with refreshments, after which they visited the residence of Mr. T. B. Gorsuch and paid their respects to him.
DUNTY - CARRICK A pleasant reception and dancing party was held at the residence of Mr. Wm. Dunty, at Fork, on Tuesday night, in honor of his son, Mr. John Dunty, who was recently married to Miss Alice Carrick, of Baltimore, A large number of friends were present from the city and surrounding country. An elegant supper was served, after which dancing was commenced and continued until after midnight, when the city friends left for their homes. Among those present were Mr. Andrew Carrick and wife, parents of the bride; Dr. J. F. H. Gorsuch and Messrs. Edwin A. Gorsuch, John Arthur, Chas. Benson, Jas. R. Dilworth, T. Blair, W. H. Hook, and the Misses Frances Arden, Florence Stevenson, Maggie Dilworth, Annie Robertson, the Misses Lindsay, Mrs. Gore?, and others.
