Will Book E-pages 393-394-Dated Bourbon County March Court 1816. Bequeathed to his loving wife, Mary Ann one-third part of the estate. The rest of the estate to be divided equally between his children-William, Polly, John, Martha, Thomas and Hugh Wright and if my wife is pregnant, my will is that the child should be equal in part with the above mentioned children. David Leach was appointed executor. Witnesses: John Johnson, Samuel Black, and Joseph Hannah. Attest: Tho. P. Smith C. B. C.
Note: on the will for Hugh Wright, it stated if his wife
was pregnant, the child would share: The will names 6 children. The
settlement shows 7 shares. On a follow-up, I found that a
biography of one of the grandchildren had named the seventh child. The
child was Peggy Anne Wright born August 1816.
