Message from the editor...

       
      I hope everyone had a wonderful time with family and friends over the holidays. Let's work harder in 2008 to make this website a place to check back more and more for new things going on with the Adair County Genealogical Society.

     To all of our 2007 members, the winter review is at the printers and as soon as they are ready we will mail them right out.

     In 2008, we will be bringing some changes to the review.  Membership is still $15.00 and can be mailed in now.

 
      Ernestine Bennett still has copies of her second volume of the Country Store left; she mentioned once she runs out she would reprint if anyone needed them. It is a wonderful collection of pictures and stories of the old time country stores found in Adair County.

      You may notice a few things different about this review, I have included a calendar of events for this next year in the back of the review, Also please take note that membership was raised to $15.00 a year due to increase in postage and printing costs, so we had to increase the price.

Hope to see everyone in 2008. Take time to enjoy all that is around you.
