This index is the result of an on-going volunteer project
which is converting eleven drawers of library cards, each containing obituary
information, to an electronic database format. As with all indexes, many human
precautions have been taken to assure accuracy, but the originals should
always be checked for verification.
Also, even as the data is being entered, omissions have been
found. It never hurts to ask. |

The obituaries cover a timeframe from approximately 1870 to the present. A couple of gaps of approximately 13 years (1984 to
1994 and 1996-1998) are being closed
at the same time as the index conversion. The project is at the halfway point with
approximately 8625 names. |
