Pearl N. Young, 97, of Manhattan, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006 in Manhattan; born April 17, 1909 in Cleburne, the daughter of Edward Franklin and Anna Frederica (Richter) Toburen; on April 3, 1943, in Manhattan, married Howard F. Young; they later divorced. Survivors include one son, R. L. Young and his wife M. of Manhattan; one sister, F. Brennan of Manhattan; one brother, M. W. "Mike" Toburen of Merriam; one step-son, L. Young of Los Angeles, Calif.; eight grandchildren, two step-granddaughters, and 12 great-grandchildren; preceded in death by one daughter, Marlene Lavonne Keith on Sept. 23, 1988; and by eight siblings, Leslie Toburen, Blanche Troutfetter, Harold Toburen, Lee Toburen, Estelle Sears, Lawrence Toburen, Robert Toburen and Warren Toburen; burial June 24, 2006 in Sunset Cemetery in Manhattan.
