Mrs. Bridget Flanagan Reidy, age 76, died of a heart attack at 4 a.m. at the Rock Hill neighborhood home of her daughter, Mrs. George (Mary) Thompson. She had been in failing health for some time. She was born near Castlerea, Co. Roscommon, Ireland, and came to Ft. Riley at age 19. She married James Reidy and they resided on a farm on McDowell Creek in Geary County until his death four years ago. Mrs. Reidy has made her home in Manhattan, with her daughter Mrs. Thompson, since that time. Also surviving is her daughter, Mrs. John (Catherine)Gazda of Chicago, a son, James Reidy of Junction City, sisters Winifred McCarthy and Mrs. Nicholas (Ellen) Conway, both of St. Louis, MO, and one sister in Ireland, Elizabeth Regan. Services will be held at St. Francis Xavier's in Junction City on Friday, Rec. James Bradley officiating, and interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. (1-4-1933 unknown paper)

Rice, Rowena M. was born May 2, 1910, on a farm near Waldron, Ark., the daughter of Henry and Matilda Gracey; she died Saturday, May 25, 2002 in Blue Rapids; preceded in death by her husband, Donald Rice; burial at the Randolph Fancy Creek Cemetery north of Randolph (CCT)

Roepke, Edna was born Aug. 10, 1900, at Winkler, the daughter of Julius and Minnie (Meyer) Rahe; she died Tuesday, March 12, 2002, at Clay Center; married Bernhardt Roepke Feb. 14, 1925, and he preceded her in death June 11, 1962; also preceded by two sons, three brothers, and four sisters; survived by three daughters, A. Wendland and husband of Randolph, E. Blumer and husband of Mitchell, S.D., and J. Heddleson and husband of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; two sons, R. Roepke and wife of Tullahoma, Tenn., and Keith Roepke and wife of Flagstaff, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren; burial in Fancy Creek Zion Cemetery (CCD)

Roepke, Norma L. was born March 13, 1912, on a farm south of Randolph, Kansas, the daughter of John and Amelia (Kunze) Grob; she died Wednesday, June 6, 2001 in Merriam; married March 22, 1941, at Randolph, Kansas, to Albert Roepke; he preceded her in death on May 24, 1986; survived by 1 sister, E. Fittell and husband of Shawnee, Kansas, and several nieces and nephews; burial in the Riverside Cemetery in Waterville, Kansas (CCT)

Rundle, Mary Alice, was born Jan. 20, 1946, in Clay Center, the daughter of George Charles and Melva Alice (Hatfield) Fritz; she died Friday, March 10, 2000, at the Leonardville; married Lauren Lee Rundle Dec. 11, 1966; survived by her husband, two daughters, J. Donovan and husband,. of Concordia and T. Rundle of Topeka; a son, T. Rundle of Naperville, Ill.; and two brothers, W. Fritz of Clay Center and F. Fritz of Riley; burial Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center (CCD)
