Larson, April R., was born July 15, 1980, at Manhattan, the daughter of Roy and Debbie (Pfaff) Larson; she died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, at her home in Leonardville; survived by i her parents, a half-brother, Alan Holle of Leonardville; and her grandparents, L. and E. Pfaff of Leonardville; burial in Leonardville Cemetery (CCT)
Lax, Jimmie LeRoy, 78, died Thursday, July 22, 2004 in Chesterfield, MO.; born March 13, 1926, in Manhattan, served in the U.S. Navy during World War II; survived by his wife, brother and sister' burial at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis (abstract MM)
Eldo E. Larson, 91, of Riley, died Jan. 24, 2002, in Manhattan; born Jan. 27, 1910, at Leonardville, son of Emil and Hilma (Berggren) Larson; Feb. 24, 1937, he married Edna Heikes at Riley; she preceded him in death Aug. 23, 2000; survivors include one brother, E. Larson of Larned; burial in Riley Cemetery. (JCU)
Lawrence Evan "Larry" Lindgren, 86, of Manhattan, died Aug. 28, 2004; born on Feb. 20, 1918, the oldest of three children and the son of John Evan and Ada Marie (Hagberg) Lindgren; his grandparents immigrated from Sweden in the 1890s; married Pauline Adelle Brown on Feb. 20, 1946, in the First Christian Church in El Dorado. She survives of the home.Other survivors include three daughters and eight grandchildren: Mr. and Mrs. Robert Keppel of Huntsville, Texas; David, Allie and John Keppel of Seattle, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. Mark Pendergrass, Brian and Shane Apple of Wilmington, N.C.; and Mr. and Mrs. Tim Wigger and Sydney, T.C., and Tyler Wigger of Shawnee; and a brother, Les Lindgren, of Federal Heights, Colo.; preceded in death by his sister, Louise Miller of Dwight; burial Sept. 1, 2004 in the Sunrise Cemetery.(abstract MM)

Ralph and Vera Lovgren---Vera Lovggren was born August 17, 1920, at Leonardville, Kansas, the daughter of John J. and Freda (Hanson) Arents; she died May 2, 2003, at Randolph, Kansas Ralph Lovgren was born August 16, 1920 at Winkler, Kansas, the son
of Paulus and Emma (Spear) Lovgren; he died May 4, 2003 at the KU Medical Center in
Kansas City. Both died from injuries sustained in an
automobile accident north of Randolph, Kansas; married April 24, 1945, at Leonardville, Kansas; Ralph was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Walter and Robert Lovgren; they are survived by 1 son, Donald Lovgren of Wichita, KS; one daughter, Kay Doughty of Leavenworth, KS; 3 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; and many nieces and
nephews; also, Vera is also survived by 1 brother Harold J. Arents and wife Jane of Leonardville, KS; 1 sister, Jean Weisner and husband George of Manhattan, KS; services at the Zion Fancy Creek United Methodist Church northwest of Randolph, KS.(Abstract, CCD)
