Donald Eldon Kaiser, 82, of Leonardville, died Sept. 5, 2004 in Clay Center; born June 3, 1922, in Cloud County; survived by his sister, Joyce Swallow of Manhattan; and a brother, Elmo Kaiser of Monnago, N.D.; preceded in death by one brother, services held Saturday, Sept. 11 and burial in Miltonvale Cemetery in Miltonvale.(abstract MM)

Karrigan, Phillip, was born Jan. 21, 1916, at Bala, the son of Samuel and Mary (Mullen) Karrigan; he died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002 in Manhattan; preceded in death by a sister; survived by a brother, S. Karrigan of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, J. Bridgewater of Birmingham,Ala., and H.. M. Herde of Manhattan; burial at Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center (CCD)

Kaump, Ruth, was born Oct. 11, 1910, at May Day, the daughter of Ludwig and Frederica (Harrisberger) Kaump; she died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000 in Manhattan; preceded in death by a sister and two brothers; survived by a sister, M. King, of Manhattan; burial in Riley Cemetery (CCD)

Earl C. Klocke, 88, Manhattan, died Saturday, May 6, 2006; born Dec. 16, 1917 on the family farm near Randolph, the son of August Henry Klocke and Helena Celena Sophie Wohler Klocke; united in marriage to Helen Frances Coonrod on December 21, 1941 in Keats; she preceded him in death on Aug. 18, 1988; later married to Cleo Madge Schurr Wohler on March 29, 1992 in Manhattan; also preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Elston H. Klocke; and a sister, Kathryn Berger; survived his wife Cleo, of the home; three sons, Darryl C. Klocke, and his wife Sally, of Three Rivers, Calif., Carroll F. Klocke of Springfield, Mass., and Jon E. Klocke of Encino, Calif.; four daughters, Dianna L. Schmitt, and her husband Gerald, of Wichita, Marsha K. Clayton, and her husband Gary, of Kingsport, Tenn., Juanita S. Besant, and her husband Bob, of Chatsworth, Calif. and WenDee A. Cuneo, of Valencia, Calif.; a step son, Larry E. Wohler, and his wife Marilyn, of Manhattan; a sister, Marjorie Whearty of Randolph; 12 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and three great grandchildren; inurnment in the Fancy Creek Mt. Greta "Jean" Krouse, 76, of Westmoreland, died Tuesday, May 16, 2006; born Nov. 14, 1929 in Manhattan, the daughter of Cecil Sutterlin and Cleda Casey; married Raymond Krouse on Nov. 28, 1948 in Manhattan. He survives at their home; also survived by three sons, Charles Krouse and his wife Joy, and Richard Krouse, both of Westmoreland Dean Krouse and his wife Kim of Lenexa; three daughters, Judy Park and her husband Noel of Ashland, Mary Herrs of Westmoreland Linda Kraushaar and her husband Garry of Frankfort; two brothers, Bob Sutterlin and Scott Casey, both of Westmoreland; two sisters, Marjorie Brown of Manhattan and Marilyn Deveney of Raytown, Mo.; one step-mother, Naomi Sutterlin of Westmoreland; 11 grandchildren, Kristin, Aaron, Gib, Kim, Brian, Tim, Elizabeth, Derek, Ryan, Bailey, Nathan, and one great-grandchild, Ethan; one daughter-in-law, Karen True of Mason City, Iowa; preceded in death by one son, William "Bill" Krouse in December 1994; burial the Westmoreland City Cemetery (MM)
