Dr. Homer K. Caley, 79, born Oct. 22, 1922, at Green, the son of Perry and Lottie (Cochran) Caley; died Sunday, April 21, 2002 in Manhattan; married Maxine Zimmerman June 6, 1943, at Wellington, and she survives of the home; also survived by two sons, Gregory Caley of Manhattan and Bryce Caley of Plainview, Texas; a brother, Lawton Caley of Wichita Falls, Texas; a sister, Alice Flentie of Centralia; and four grandchildren; burial in Sunrise Cemetery in Manhattan;(Abstract, CCD)

Carlson, Clara M., was born May 1, 1912, at Green, the daughter of Herman W. and Bessie P. (Hazen) Bertsch; she died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002, at Salina; married Carl R. Carlson Oct. 11, 1934, and he preceded her in death June 21, 1972. She was also preceded by a daughter, three sisters and two brothers; survived a son, R. W. Carlson and wife of Clay Center; a daughter, S. Karyto and husband. of Scranton, Pa.; a brother, F. Bertsch of Clay Center; a sister, G. Beauchamp of Sun City, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; burial at May Day Cemetery in Riley County

Caskey, Howard Kemp, 53, died June 10, 2004, in Manhattan; born July 29, 1950, in Mobile, Ala., the son of Lawrence Lowell and Sylvia Mary (Kemp) Caskey; married Janita Kay Smith on Nov. 1, 1999, in Kansas City and she survives; along with his father; a daughter, a brother, and two grandchildren; preceded in death by his mother;.served in the U.S. Air Force for one year and the U.S. Army for 20 years; graveside services at the Fort Riley Cemetery (abstract MM)

Cook, Howard "Bob" was born Dec. 4, 1912, at Randolph, the son of Bert and Clara (Gebhardt) Cook; he died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999 in Topeka; married Emma Olson Aug. 20, 1939, and she preceded him in death May 29, 1998; also preceded by a daughter; survived by two daughters, C. Veath of Huntley, Ill., and J. Johnson of Topeka; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; burial in Randolph Fancy Creek Cemetery (CCT)
