Wayne L. Trautwein, 93, died Wednesday, January 31, 2007 in Kansas City; born December 15, 1913, at Green, the son of Martin C. and Grace M. (Appleton) Trautwein; married Fern E. Anderson February 26, 1936 in Clay Center, she survives of the home; preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Russell Trautwein and one sister, Jerry Withrow; other survivors include two daughters Connie Trautwein, Sharon Armstrong and husband Kent; two sons, Terry Trautwein and wife Paula, Dick Trautwein and wife Becky, all of the Kansas City area; two brothers, Robert Trautwein and Joe Trautwein, both of Clay Center; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great- great grandchild; burial in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Gladstone, Mo.

Vivian Maxine Tripp, 91, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at Clay Center; born Dec. 29, 1916, at Clay Center, the daughter of Earle and Beulah (Billings) Bouden; married Henry Tripp on July 14, 1936; he preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 1989; also preceded by one step-son; survived by three daughters, Henrietta Mounts and Jean Woolley, both of Clay Center, and Marie and husband Bud Bolejack of Topeka; one son, Robert Tripp of Ventura, Calif.; one step-daughter, Betty Sharp of Clay Center; one step-son, Henry Tripp of Glendora, Calif.; one sister, Rachel Brown of Wakefield; and 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; burial at Greenwood Cemetery.

Jean Tripp, 82, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007; born July 15, 1925, the daughter of Otis and Ada (Moore) Avery; married Earl LeRoy Tripp on Aug. 16, 1944, at Clay Center; he preceded her in death January 9, 1999; survived by two sons, Ronald E. Tripp of Lecompton and Donald R. Tripp and wife Margie of Mission; one sister-in-law, Betty Sharp of Clay Center; one brother-in-law, Henry Tripp and wife Louise of Glendora, Calif.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson; inurnment service will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

Alwin Henry Trumpp, 90, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, at Wakefield; born Nov. 2, 1916, in Riley County, the son of Fred and Emma (Sylvester) Trumpp; married Roberta Heintz on Nov. 2, 1944, they later divorced; married Betty Jean Paulson on June 24, 1955; she preceded him in death on Jan. 5, 1991; then married Dora True on Sept. 1, 1991; also preceded in death by one son-in- law, Tom Snyder; survived by his wife, Dora Trumpp of the home, Wakefield; three sons, Corey Trumpp and wife Janet of Wakefield, Dana Trumpp and Laura of Clay Center and Michael Trumpp and wife Trish of Wichita; four daughters, Jolynda Snyder of Clay Center, Teresa Davis, Ranee Phye and husband Larry of Conway Springs and Marsha Jones and husband Gordon of Maize; one brother, Maynard Trumpp of Leonardville; one sister, Elnora Jones of Clay Center; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
