Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, at Arkansas City; born Aug. 15, 1912, at Clay Center, the
daughter of Frank and Rosa Edwina (Gillespie) Kimbrough; married Henry Abels on Sept. 16, 1931, at
Clay Center; he preceded her in
death on Aug. 3, 1999; also preceded in
death by one son, Barry Abels, one grandson and one sister; survived by two daughters, Joyce Gibbs of Arkansas
City and Eloyse Abels of Irving, Tex.; two grandsons; and
four great-grandchildren; funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the
Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center with the Rev.
James Byers officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood
Cemetery, Clay Center.

July 17, 2007, at Clay Center; born Sept. 29, 1907, at Linn, the son of
Nepoleon and Mary Philomen (Martin) Adams;
married Mary C. Martin on March 8, 1943, at Kimeo; preceded
in death by his wife, Mary Adams, two brothers and
three sisters; burial in Greenwood Cemetery.

Warren Richard Anderson, age 72, died

Berta Hundley Anderson; he and Barbara Forkner were married January
17, 1959 at the First Baptist Church in Clay Center; preceded in death by sons, Troy and Dane, his parents
Herbert and Berta Anderson, brothers, Howard, Martin, and Francis,
sisters, Iola, Barbara Jean, and Charlotte. Survivors include his wife
Barbara, of the home, son Eric and wife Lori, Lingle, Wyoming,
daughter Lisa and husband Andy Contreras, Cibolo, Texas,
daughter-in-law, Jennifer Anderson, Sammamish, Washington, mother-in-
law, Rosalie Forkner-Rose, Torrington, Wy., brothers, Donald and wife
Joyce, Wellington, Dan Anderson, Sabetha, and sister Gladys Van
Amburg, Derby, Ks. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Jane
Forkner, Plano, Texas, and Nancy Forkner, Torrington, Wy. Warren is
survived by grandchildren, Emily, Elizabeth, Erica, Anne, Andrea,
Alexis, and Denny and great grandchildren, Dakota, Dallie, Dillon,
Paige, Cordell, Jaiden, Ethan, and Blake. and several nieces and
nephews; burial at the Greenwood Cemetery.

in death on Dec. 22, 1992; also preceded in death by one brother, one sister and one

sisters, Irene Yonally of San Diego, Calif., Billie Carlson of

Louis J. Auld, 87, died Sunday, May 18, 2008, at
Clay Center; born Feb. 12, 1921, at Wakefield, the son of Robert

Wakefield United Methodist Church; survived by one sister, Jeanette Braden of Richland, Wash.; funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the United
Methodist Church in Wakefield with the Rev. Diana Stewart
officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Wakefield.

2007, in Topeka; born March 17, 1902, at Wakefield, the

Surviving is a brother William H. Avery of Wakefield, Kansas and her nieces and nephews; inurnment will be in Highland Cemetery, Wakefield.
