Henry Richardson
OBITUARY--H. Richardson Rites Slated RANTOUL -- Services for Henry Richardson will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Rantoul Community Church United Presbyterian. Mr. Richardson, 84, died Tuesday in the Wadsworth Veterans Administration Hospital in Leavenworth.

He was born June 24, 1892 in DeWitt, Neb. and his parents were Henry Sr. and Julia Burgess Richardson. On Dec. 6, 1922, he married Oleta Dempsay and they were parents of a son, Perry, who died Sept. 17, 1972. Mr. Richardson was a veteran of World War I.

Among the survivors are the widow, Oleta, of the home; three brothers; two sisters; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Alan Smith will officiate at the services. Music will be provided by Ramona Ball and Sybil Lathen. Active pallbearers will be Don Davis, Don Lash, Howard Caylor, George Alexander, Sam, Caylor and John Meyer. Honorary pallbearers will be Williad Miller, Buck Burgoon, Bob Andrews, Bill Foster and Jim Seymour. Burial will be in the Ruhamah Cemetery under the direction of Birchard Funeral Home.

Oleta Richardson
LOUISBURG-Oleta Fern Richardson, 86, died Jan. 29, 1991, in a nursing home in Louisburg, Kan., where she lived. She was born in Piedmont, Kan., and lived in Howard and Rantoul in Kansas before moving to Louisburg four years ago. Mrs. Richardson was a member of the Rantoul Community Presbyterian Church and its United Presbyterian Women. She was a member of the Quilting Club of Rantoul. Her husband, Henry Richardson, died in 1976. Survivors include eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church; burial in Ruhamah Cemetery, near Rantoul. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at the Eddy-Birchard Chapel, Osawatomie, Kan. the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Frances C. Corder

The Overbrook Herald, Overbrook, Osage County, Kansas, Friday, January 24, 1900

Mrs. Corder, of southeast of this place, died at her home last Saturday and was buried Sunday in the Kobb cemetery. The funeral was preached at the Centenial schoolhouse, by the Rev. Daniel B. Barnhart. Note: Correct spelling of the cemetery name is KAUB.

Benjamin Corder
The Overbrook Citizen, Overbrook, Osage County, Kansas Thursday, May 23, 1901

Benjamin Corder died at his home southeast of town, Monday, May 20th, and was buried in the Cobb cemetery on Tuesday, May 21st, Rev. D. B. Barnhart preaching the funeral. Mr. Corder was a Virginian by birth and was in his 88th year. Mr. Corder was in apparently his usual health on the morning before his death and had gone out to work in the garden, when the dread messenger called him. Death's coming was unheralded and almost instantaneous.
Note: Correct spelling of the cemetery name is KAUB.

Thomas Price

The Overbrook Citizen, Thursday, January 17, 1901

Thomas Price, an old and respected citizen of Douglas County, died at his home, one-half mile south of Globe, Tuesday, January 15th, 1901. The funeral will take place to-day, interment to be made in Kaub cemetery.
