| Mt Carmel School Cemetery is a neglected and un-maintained cemetery located out in the country 5 miles North and 1 mile east of McCune, Kansas. There have not been any new burials for many years, however, some of the stones appear to be newer that the types used when the burials occured. Some older stones that have broken off have been placed back down in a bed of cement which should preserve them, but they are not very good looking. There is no sign at the cemetery. There was probably a country school here at one time. |
