Ed Taliaferro, well known in this city, died suddenly at Anthony where he was employed as a barber on Monday of this week.

Funeral services were conducted at 4:30 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon of this week from the Forsyth Funeral home, with R. C. Scott, pastor of the local Christian church in charge. Burial was in Highland cemetery.

Ed grew to manhood in Medicine Lodge and had lived most of his life here. He served during the World War in the regular army, having enlisted in July, 1917. He saw action in various battles in France, and was discharged from the service in July 1919.

Edward P. Taliaferro was born April 15, 1890, at Medicine Lodge, Kansas, and died June 21, 1937, at Anthony, Kansas, aged 47 years, 2 months and 6 days. He leaves to mourn his departure, one daughter, Edna, and his father, R. J. Taliaferro, who is very ill at this time.
