These pages are lists of the census microfilms for the
state of Illinois. You can find your enumeration
district numbers (EDs) on “A Look At Cook”
or on Steven Morse’s site,
or on the National
Archives web site. Then use this
series of pages to find the right microfilm number to order the film from LDS or NARA. The districts are not filmed in order on
each film so it is not easy to locate the right film by reading the film
descriptions. These pages, however, are
sorted by Illinois county, then enumeration district, so you can find the right
film number easily.
