FRANOI - Chicagoland' Italian American Voice

FRA NOI

“Le Nostre Origini”

Fra Noi has been Chicagoland’s “Italian-American Voice” for over 40 years.  The monthly paper contains 120 pages in English, 10 pages in Italian, and reports on the issues most important to Chicago’s Italian-American community.  You can find many back issues at the Library of the Italian Cultural Center in Stone Park, IL.

A PLEA FOR HELP!!!   - There are many issues of Fra Noi missing from the Italian Cultural Center library AND a few missing from the Fra Noi offices.  If you have any old Fra Noi issues in decent condition that you can donate to replace the missing ones, we would greatly appreciate it.  Click HERE for a list of missing issues.  Please e-mail me at famigliabari@comcast.net to let me know what you have.  Thanks!

Dan Niemiec, co-chair of POINTers In Person – Chicago-North, is the genealogy correspondent for Fra Noi.  Since there is no room in the column for photos, documents, and computer screen images (screen shots), Fra Noi readers can find these here on the web site so they can see what is being referred to in the column.  Sorry I cannot post the columns here, but if you find a column that would be worth reading, look it up at the Italian Cultural Center library.
