These last two appear in a manuscript in the British Museum
Farrell O'Gara was the financial supporter of the monks who wrote the
-Annals of the Kingdom of Ireland - Annals of the Four masters
and was....one the two knights elected to represent the county of sligo in the parliament held in Dublin this present year of our Lord, 1634.

While it is impossible to prove at this late date; the insertion of Radcliffe
and Taffe into the 1634 Parliament lists seems to have been an

Oliver O'Gara, Esq....Coolavin*
*Oliver was the son of John and grandson of Farrell O'Gara. He later became an officer in the service of
France and Spain and being knighted as the Baronet of Roscommon by James III, in 1727.
These two were summuned by writs of James II
