Germany was the first mission endeavor of Churches of Christ after World War II. Heroic men like Otis Gatewood, Roy Palmer, and many others along with women like Irene Johnson-Gatewood, and Kay Patton, had the vision, faith, and courage to leave their homes and go into a country devastated by a horrible war.

Churches like the cathedral of Munster ( left ) were patterned after and can be seen all over Germany.
