Moris Bowlin's wife I had listed as Alice but I had crossed that out and put Ellen but I can't remember why.It may have been Ellen on the baptisms. It was over a year ago that i had looked at the baptisms. All I copied down was the name of the children, year born, and where the baptism had taken place.

October,1860 Commissioners map of lots 35, 36, 37 and 48 show for the first time the property of John Beagan of lot 37. He is boarded on the North by James Fitssimmons Jn. and on the South by a unnamed Boylan. One lot further South is owned by the Rev's James Brady. John's property eventually is owned by Owen and his wife , Ann Trainor which suggests that it was passed on by Owen's, supposed, father John Beagan. It also shows the property of John Bagan, the brother of Owen Beagan, on lot 35 in Donagh.

1861 The census of Lot 37 records no John Beagan. However it does record in order , from North to South, just as in the Road Commissioners map, Patrick Mooney, James Fitzsimmons, and than the farm of ?ury Boylan. This Boylan person has two males from age 5 to 16, one male from 16 to 21, one male from 21 to 45 and one male over age 60. The females are one under 5 years of age, one from 5 to 16, and one from 21 to 45. Two people are married, all are RC and they live on 130 acres.

Francis Hand is the 8th person listed on the 1861 census of lot 37, one name after John Boylan. What would bring the Hands from Dramore to mix with the Beagans of Donagh in 1844 when there are bearly roads to travel on.

Coincidence #4 1863 Lakes Map shows the property formerly listed as owned by John Beagan in 1860 as now being owned by a ? Bolen.
