Theodore F. Brown, passenger agent for the Pan Handle Railroad, New Castle, Ind., is a native of Henry County, Ind., born May 8, 1847, a son of Milton and Sarah (Moore) Brown. He learned the blacksmithÕs trade of his father and worked with him till after the breaking out of the Rebellion. He ran away and enlisted but being too young was taken home by his father. The third time he succeeded in getting away and served six months, till the close of the war. He was appointed passenger agent in 1878, under H.E. Townsend, General Agent of the Gould lines and served two years went he received the appointment to his present position. |
