CHANGE OF MEETING TIME AND PLACE, DUE TO MEMORIAL HOLIDAY

Presentation will be on the Lower floor room of the KPL @ 1:30 pm. Barbara Clark of the Cambridge area will do a program on Scrapbooking for Genealogy which will include her family lines which include Buell, Ringle and Opdycke Families. Other members will provide samples of their Genealogical Scrapbooking.

June 23, 2008 @ 1:30 pm, the HCGS will meet at the Cambridge Library where we will have a small meeting and will be fortunate to hear from Harvey Johnson of the Cambridge Historical Society and then Keith Robinson will conduct a tour through the Old, Odd and Unusual Museum of Cambridge.

August 23, 2008 (SATURDAY) meeting will be held in conjunction with the Stark County Genealogical Society @ the Elmira Cemetery & Church Hall. Rosie Whittaker will demonstrate her ability to find unmarked graves.

September 22, 2008 @ 1:30 in the KPL upstairs meeting room, will be Moline Author-Lilly Setterdahl who has several books published. Lilly is a native of Sweden. She has compiled guidebooks and authored and co-authored several books and many research articles. Her previous subjects include Scandinavians in Alabama, Rockford Swedes and Minnesota Swedes, as well as Moline Swedes.

October27, 2008 @ 1:30 in the KPL upstairs meeting room, Floyd Ham will give us an update on his Civil War Veterans of Stark County Project.

November 24, 2008 @ 1:30 pm in the KPL upstair meeting room, Brock Tumbleson will provide information regards family heirlooms-"Antiques Roadshow" Guests encouraged to bring a treasure for appraisal. Treats and Beverages will be served.
