September 1972--Marshall, IL (Special)--Owen J. Hendrix, 84, died Thursday
afternoon at his residence here.  Surviving are the widow, Ada; a son,
Wayne, RR 3, Marshall; four daughters, Mrs. William Chattis, Chatham, IL;
Mrs. Dean Graff, Gibson City, IL; Mrs. Robert Slayton, Fairbury, IL, and
Mrs. Dean Guyer, Robinson, IL.  16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday at the Moore Funeral Home with the Rev.
H. J. Kemp officiating.  Burial will be in Marshall Cemetery.  Friends may
call after 4 p.m. Saturday.
