The Oregon Trail in Bannock County, Idaho

        Fort Hall was at the northern edge of Bannock. The main trail passed through there. Hudspeth's Cutoff was created in 1849 when Benoni Hudspeth and J.J. Myers wanted to get to California a bit faster and tried a shortcut to the California trail.
