My Iowa ancestors did not live in this county, but passed through Lee County to the south on their way to Council Bluffs to eventually settle in Shelby County. The Beebe and Williamson families have been tracked in a new format of which several readers have an interest. If this format works for you, feel free to use it to track your ancestors westward. I hope you enjoy the trip. BEEBE From England 1650 to Connecticut, Ohio 1840 to Shelby Co. Iowa 1851, then to Missouri 1857, Texas1900, Oklahoma until 1930, then Arkansas.
