January 121. Annual meeting
2. Donna Hague Wendt will talk about blogging and introduce our HCGS blog. Learn how to get a "reader" installed on your homepage so you'll know when a new posting has been made.
3. Pizza! $5 per person, or bring your own lunch.
February 9New member Bryan J. Quisquirin will explain how to do Philippine genealogical research.
March 8Bobby Stevens will talk about back-up and archival methods and media, as well as types of genealogical data that can be found in court plea and minute books.
April 12 Stan Jones will tell us about genealogy conferences on land and at sea.
May 10 "I Can Never Go Back to Where I Was Born": Alan Toft on researching his English roots.
June 14 We'll be online, so bring in your favorite genealogical websites to share. After the break, Tom Bopp will talk about participating in indexing projects.
July 12 Don't miss our 5th annual ancestral potluck! Some of us will be bringing dishes that reflect our family heritage. Feel free to bring something or not, but please come—there'll be plenty to go around.
August 9 What exactly is a 4th cousin twice removed? Lenore Hansen-Stafford will tell us all about those confusing relationships. Alan Toft will talk about Palms, PDAs, and cellphones.
