Other_Information
My mother lived very close to this cemetery when she was a child.
She remembers that the cemetery was used then by African-Americans. When we went to find
it some months ago, we were just disgusted that no one has tried to take care of it. My
mother even went to one of the funeral homes in town to try to see if anyone could check
into the condition of this cemetery. We don't know if anyone has done anything or not
(probably not). There is a grave right on the edge of a pond that was made by the owners
of the land. This grave is the grave of a United States Veteran (I believe World War II).
The headstone is one of the newer ones in the cemetery, and it is one of the readable
ones.
