New Historical Society Building, 2007

The new Historical Society Museum is now open to the public! The new building contains more than 2,000 square feet. In addition to a large room housing heirlooms and artifacts, there is also a lovely work room for volunteers, and a reading room for researchers.

The Grand Opening on July 1, 2007 was a huge success. The Society has plans underway for new projects, including a brand new quarterly newsletter that is included with membership. We are especially in need of volunteers to staff the museum, and to help organize and catalogue the collection.

Hours open to the public are Mondays 10 am to 2 pm, Wednesdays 1 pm to 5 pm and Fridays 10 am to 2 pm
