"The Manatee"

Manatee Chapter of Anna Maria, Florida, was organized in Bradenton

on the 14th of September 1951. The Manatee name was

drawn from the County, from one of the oldest towns of the West Coast

of Florida, and from the wide, beautiful river that flows past our doors.
