Thank you for venturing onto this One parish genealogical Study.  This is right now in its infancy and over the coming weeks/months/years more will be added so be sure to check back regularly. A number of other sites exist that cover the parishes surrounding Rosliston, so if you don't find what you are looking for on here then why not take a look at these.

Rosliston is a small quaint village in South Derbyshire close to the Leicestershire and Staffordshire borders.  It can be found under the Burton upon Trent registration district for both BMD's and Census. 

All the transcripts on here have been taken from the primary sources but I would urge you to, before accepting my transcriptions, check them against the originals.  I do make errors although I try to keep these to a bare minimum.  If you should find such an error then please feel free to e-mail me using the link below.  Please make the subject line Rosliston : Error.

Church Fund Raising

Rosliston Church has just been given a
grant by English Hertiage of £73,000 to repair 2
walls.

We still need to find approx £40,000 to finish this
job. With this in mind we are doing as much fund
raising as we can. 

We are going to sell stones at a price of £30 and you
name will go in a book inside church.
