The following is taken from
the article - "IN PIONEER DAYS"
(A paper read by the late John E. Woodworth before the
Nova Scotia Historical Society, Halifax, at the April
meeting, 1917. The Register - Berwick, N.S. - Wednesday
Evening, January 29, 1930 (page 1).
"The events of today
will be history tomorrow and every lover of his country,
every true patriot, should align himself with us in the
endeavor to preserve, for the benefit of future
generations the records of past and present events of
interest and public note."
